Here is a short statement about two summers at CoLab
What is CoLab?
10 things I learned from 2 summers sprinting at IDEO CoLab:
1. It's about the people.
talented people excited to be doing what they do. they made every day exciting - friendships
3. Understand your team.
Know the superpowers on your team and play to them. That sometimes means learning something new and getting out of your comfort zone - I am a product designer, but the answers to the problems we were presnted with werent always products - learn new skills, help others be successful, apply the design process.
5. Metaphors are magic.
Complexities of developing technologies - how to create human experiences with tech ppl aren't familiar with - creating strong metaphors to ground unfamiliar concepts is an incredible tool - hand someone a new tool and a new mental model.
7. Document.
Keep detailed notes of the decision making process - later on you will thank yourself and it will help tell a story and help with the hand off process
9. Understand who the
stakeholders are.
2. Take a stance.
form strong hypotheses that express an extreme opinion. either supported or super not supported. in your work design for how the world should be and imbue projects with your personal values.
4. Process = Prototype
The path will invariably change and every project is unique. dont be afraid to go off book. The design process is a living thing that is constantly being built and rebuilt - there is no right way to do it.
6. Build quickly.
Break prototypes, you can have a thousand conversations and sketches and postits but you don't know until you've built something and set it free in the world.
8. Share your skills!
You're surrounded by crazy talented people with dope skills and you have skills they don't have - seize the chance to learn! interdisciplinary awesomeness. share your experience and get others.
10. Feel the fear.
Trust yourself.

Cryptocurrencies open a wealth of new opportunities for asset holders... but today they also place the responsibility of security in the hands of privacy-conscious users, who choose to contend with the challenge of managing their own keys instead of saving them with a third party. A Crypto-Comic Adventure focuses on demystifying an integral part of blockchain transactions⏤storing and retrieving public and private keys⏤through a personal approach.
This comic strip outlines the risks and opportunities of a privacy-forward approach to crypto-key management in a clear and playful way. Engaged readers get guiding principles to take ownership of storing and maintaining their crypto-keys.
